It took a little longer than expected, but now the forum is back online. Have fun with it!

We will be moving the Moodle system to a new server today. This means that both class.innovaphone.com and forum.innovaphone.com will be down for a while.

We hope to be back online later today.

In addition to the RSS feeds [[RSS Feeds | described in our Wiki], which are created and maintained automatically by the innovaphone wiki, there is a new edited feed. "Edited" here means that the entries are hand-crafted.

The obvious drawback is that when you rely on this feed only, you may might miss some information - if we decide not to post it. The benefit of course is that all messages are filtered by a human which might result in a slightly more sensible choice of information posted (in particular, the Changed Articles feed noted above tends to send a lot of less useful information hiding the good parts).

As of this writing (fall 2017), we post all noteworthy wiki updates to this edited channel.

This feed is also available as an old-style forum with (optional) mail subscription at innovaphone Wiki News Forum.

Finally, you can also follow @innovaphone_tec on twitter, which will publish the same information.

Unfortunately, like many other areas, the innovaphone forum too does need some rules. While you can read the complete set by following the respective link in the page footer, here are the most important guidelines for your convenience:

We ask all users to treat each other in a friendly and respectful manner.

Undesirable (and forbidden thus) are all posts which

constitute a criminal offense or a breach of an administrative regulation
violate copyright, trademark or competition laws
violate the Legal Services Act (Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz)
include defamatory, racist, discriminating or pornographic content
could be degrading, disparaging or slanderous toward other subscribers, the Provider or third parties or their products
include slander or false factual claims
include advertising
feature the characteristics of spam
include links to external websites (except for all domains *.innovaphone.com)
offer information on illegal downloads or software subject to license
that are written in any language other than English, German, French or Italian
do not serve the purpose of the forum, i.e. the exchange of information, opinions, thoughts and experience concerning innovaphone IP telephony and UC solutions

While links pointing to targets outside of the innovaphone world are forbidden, you may well express such information like e.g. "go to xyz's web site and search for this-and-that".
